Keyvara is a privacy-first text expansion extension for Google Workspace and supported websites.

Keyvara stores user-created shortcuts and settings locally in the user's Chrome browser using Chrome storage. Shortcut data is used only to provide text expansion functionality.

Keyvara does not sell user data. Keyvara does not transmit user shortcut data to external servers. Keyvara does not collect browsing history, personal communications, location, financial information, health information, authentication information, or payment information.

Keyvara may temporarily access editable text fields on pages where the user is actively typing in order to detect shortcut triggers and insert the user's saved text snippets. This processing happens locally on the user's device.

​

Clipboard access, when used, is only for completing user-requested text insertion and is not used to collect, store, or transmit clipboard contents.
